The whirlwind continues, I have been in Orlando since Sunday night attending the National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) convention. It’s been three days inside of a conference center and then sweltering in the heat outside as we traversed to dinner. This conference is an awesome opportunity to catch up with a lot of great friends, network with professional from around the country and learn some new tricks of the trade. One obstacle of the week is the attire – combining for indoor (freezing) conference rooms and outside 80 degree heat and 90% humidity is tricky. I decided on layers – tank tops, skirts, or a dress, layered on top with a sweater or cardigan. The cardigan also doubled as a shelter when getting caught in the rain too!
Most of the days were sunny and beautiful and we were lucky enough to get a top floor room, with a view!
The conference was enriching and a fun time, however I am really looking forward to the next seven full days in Wisconsin, it’s been a while! Can’t wait to get back to cooking my own meals and on a regular routine of exercise. One hop on a plane left and we’ll be back.
